Call for Judges

We would like to invite you, or a representative from your organization, to serve as a judge for the World Wide Web Mature Media Awards. This awards program recognizes the best Web sites for adults 50 and over. It is held twice a year — spring/summer and fall/winter — with the goal of providing a "seal of quality" for electronic information for older adults.

This is an extraordinary opportunity to review some of the best electronic senior information and to help establish a much needed "seal of approval" for older adult Web sites.

Each judge reviews 20-30 Web sites at their convenience, and rates them on the following:

• how well they convey the health information for their target market
• their graphic design quality
• and their overall quality/effectiveness

Judges are asked to review sites during a month long period using a point scale of 0-100. There will be a minimum of three judges per Web site.

We are looking for experts in the following senior- and Web-related areas:

• Advertising/Marketing
• Education
• E-Commerce
• Financial Services
• Government
• Graphic Design
• Health
• Housing
• Media/Publishing
• Travel/Leisure
• Web Design

We hope you can lend your expertise to this exciting...and growing... recognition program. It is a wonderful way to see what electronic senior information other organizations are producing.
